The Ganesh Himal range is located very near the border of Tibet, it is home to some very beautiful high valleys that provide some splendid trekking in an area that remains remote and pristine and where tourism has not yet taken hold. Ganesh Himal region has only recently been developed as a trekking region and then only for camping groups. The people of the region are very friendly and well accepting to see  new  faces that they now realize bring a benefit to the local economy. Ganesh Himal trek is fairly difficult but a very rewarding one, and if you are looking for a trek that is different and challenging, in a region where the pace of life has changed little over the years. Ganesh Himal trek is well worth considering.
The trail starts at Trishuli Bazzar, very soon after commencing the trek you are climbing steeply  through dense forest to a ridge where your destination, the hidden valleys can be clearly seen. Ganesh Himal trek takes you through some wonderful alpine scenery with some tremendous mountain views. You encounter many pine forests and meadows as you pass though flat roofed settlements towards the final destination of  Ghorka. A camp overnight is made here before the drive back to Kathmandu the following day.
