 Panchase trek / Trek to Panchase

Panchase Trek is a short but rewarding trek in Nepal. It is a perfect destination for an authentic Himalayan trekking experience with spectacular views without the time (or stamina) required. One of the hidden gems of Nepal, the Panchase trek is a low altitude trek it takes you up through a forest area, through rich farmlands, back through forests and up to several lookout points. The name Panchase invokes to the five seats of the mother in which a person experiences five levels of existence including thinking, feeling, sensing, and manifesting from above and below.

This wonderful trek initiates in the beautiful city of Pokhara. Not to mention, the summit of Panchase is considered one of the stunning points to glance the snow clad mountains. This trek offers magnificent views of Annapurna Himal, Dhaulagiri Himal, Manaslu Himal, Ganesh Himal, Fishtail or Machhapuchhre, Himchuli, and other peaks as you hike along the Panchase trail. The trekking trail lets you witness memorable views of the Himalayas, diverse landscapes, the untouched biodiversity, and the rich and unique culture. Moreover, the trails of Panchase hill lets you explore the diverse consisting of a large number of orchid species at over 100 and rhododendron forest.

Located in the Annapurna region, Panchase trek is one of the popular destinations’ here, letting you explore the stunning views of Annapurna ranges along with typical Nepali villages and amazing hospitality. Panchase is also a famous Nepalese pilgrim destination where people travel to pay respect to the souls of their ancestors. The highest point during the trek is 2517 m at Panchase dada where locates a goddess temple. The best time for the trekking is from September to June except for the monsoon. During the rainy seasons, the leeches are excessively found and the trail can be slippery & greasy.

Best time to visit
The best time for the trekking is from September to June except for the monsoon. During the rainy seasons, the leeches are excessively found and the trail can be slippery & greasy.

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
You will heartily be welcomed by our representative at the Tribhuwan International Airport. From thereon, you will be dropped at the hotel for relaxing. After that, you will be given a brief orientation of the Panchase trek by our representative.

Day 2


Sightseeing at Kathmandu
After having our early morning breakfast, you will have a full day sightseeing plan at Kathmandu. Also popular as ‘the city of Temples’, you can visit the world heritage sites such as Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Explore the beauty of the city, its culture, and tradition on this day. Furthermore, you will be prepared for trekking overnight. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3


Drive or Flight to Pokhara and Trek to Bhumdi
We either drive or fly to Pokhara, the city of Lakes. On the way, we enjoy the enchanting view of Trishuli river, temples such as Tal Barahi temple, Bindyabasini temple, and the beautiful sceneries. The snow peaks are the major attractions here. From here, our trekking journey begins towards Bhumdi. The trek begins with a long ascent to a ridge before drop down to the Bhumdi. On reaching Bhumdi you can witness the spectacular mountain views such as Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Himalchuli, Annapurna ranges

Day 4


Trek from Bhumdi to Panchase
Today we head towards Panchase from Bhumdi. The trek would take about 5-6 hours. The path descends through the tranquil evergreen forest of Bumdi to the village of Bhanjyang. Further, we ascend, winding up to another village, and then head straight down to reach the village of Patle.

Day 5


 Trek from Panchase to Bhadaure
After having our early morning breakfast, we head towards Bhadaure. It would take approximately 4 hours to reach Bhadaure. The trek goes downwards towards Bhadaure. The highest altitude is 1700m.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Lodge/Camp.


Day 6


Trek from Bhadaure to Australian Base Camp
Today we head towards Australian base Camp leaving back Bhadaure. The trekking leads through Traditional Village including Nau Danda, Bhadaure, Kande, Australian Camp, Dhamupus. The trek offers Himalayan stunning panoramic view likes Dhaulagiri, Annapurna South, Himchuli, Fishtail, and all Annapurna range, etc.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Lodge/Camp.


Day 7


Trek from Australian Base Camp to Kande and Drive to Pokhara
After having our early morning breakfast, we head towards Kande. Not to mention, Australian Camp is the starting point for many beautiful treks around Pokhara. We get to glance at the stunning views of Annapurna range of mountains such as Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Machhapuchhre, also known as Fish Tail Peak and Lamjung Himal. Not to mention, Australian Camp is the starting point for many beautiful treks around Pokhara.

Day 8


Full day at Pokhara
Today we spend our entire day at Pokhara. Pokhara, located in central Nepal is a popular destination for adventures and scenic beauty. The major attractions of the city are the pristine lakes, thus also known as ‘City of Lakes’. It is one of the favorite tourist destinations because of the spectacular views of Himalayas. It has been able to attract many travelers due to its topographical structure, serene lake, scenic beauty, and its culture.

Day 9


Drive or Flight to Kathmandu
Our trek has finally come to an end. After having our breakfast, we either drive or take a flight to Kathmandu. We spend our rest day at Kathmandu exploring the various world heritage sites such as Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa.
Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Accommodation: Hotel.


Day 10


Onward departure
After having your breakfast, you can have a relaxing time shopping in the city. At the evening our representatives will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Not to mention, you will be taking tons of memories of the trip.

    • 2-4 large plastic bags to separate clean clothes from dirty ones.
