The Annapurna region is considered as a trekker’s paradise. The region is the most visited and popular place for trekking from around the world. It uses some of the iconic mountains including the majestic Annapurna range, the Fishtail Mountain. No doubt it attracts numerous visitors as it amazes them with breathtaking mountain views and sceneries. The unique geographical structure, multicultural diversity makes the trek worthwhile. The Annapurna Circuit takes you right around the Annapurna Massif. It was in the past recognized as Nepal's 'trek-with-everything'. Green forests, tremendous mountain scenery with a mosaic of fascinating cultures, all in all, it is an all-rounder trek.

Annapurna circuit trek initiates from Besisahar. The trek takes in fascinating villages, crossing fields of paddy before dissecting the Marshyangdi river gorge. Also, the trail takes us through the world's deepest Kali Gandaki gorge with Annapurna I rising to 8091 m to the east and Dhaulagiri surging at 8167 m to the west. The alluring views of the snow-clad mountains from Poon Hill and discover the diverse Annapurna region makes the journey even more exciting. Furthermore, Annapurna Circuit Trek also takes us to Manang, Jomsom and the Muktinath region which again gets us acquainted with the diverse Nepalese landscape and culture.

The ascent towards The Manang Valley is fairly steady and when it does finally emerge into the valley you are greeted with some fantastic mountain scenery in amongst a fascinating and very different cultural setting. The valley is predominantly Tibetan in lifestyle and outlook and the next few days are spent traveling through some delightful Tibetan like settlements with tremendous views. Not to mention, the trekking trail also takes you the highest pass the Thorong La pass. We take a day out for some side trekking and acclimatization before we tackle the stiff ascent of the Thorang-La (5416m). The day over the pass is long but very rewarding, there are some fantastic views of Nilgiri, Dhaulagiri and Dhampus Peak, among others.

With the varied landscapes, villages and stunning trails, this trek is a trekking paradise for the trekking enthusiast. It is a perfect trek with moderate time duration to explore the Annapurna region of Nepal. Dwelling through the rocky trails with warm hospitality in the local villages, the trek is exciting each day. Not to forget the majestic Annapurna range, Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Best Time to visit
The best months to trek to Annapurna base camp are pre-monsoon (February, March, April, and May) and (late September, October, November, and December).

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel
You will heartily be welcomed by our representative at the Tribhuwan International Airport. From thereon, you will be dropped at the hotel for relaxing. After that, you will be given a brief orientation of the Annapurna Base Camp trek by our representative.

Day 2


Full-day Sightseeing at Kathmandu
After having our early morning breakfast, you will have a full day sightseeing plan at Kathmandu. Also popular as ‘the city of Temples’, you can visit the world heritage sites such as Boudhanath Stupa, Swayambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath temple, Patan Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Explore the beauty of the city, its culture, and tradition on this day. Furthermore, you will be prepared for trekking overnight. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3


Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar
Today we drive towards the starting point of our Trek that is Besisahar. After having our early morning breakfast, we head towards our destination. The path goes through a narrow trail leaving behind the cityscape. Besisahar is the initial point of Annapurna Circuit Trek. After reaching Besisahar we stay at the teahouses for relaxation.

Day 4


Trek from Besisahar to Bahundanda
The trekking journey starts from Today. After having our early morning breakfast, we start our trek from Besisahar to Bahundanda. Dwelling through the village we traverse through the suspension bridge across Marsyangdi River. Further, we climb up the narrow path around rice paddies and a few scattered houses. Then we move down back to the river bank, and the trail leads us to a new water power plant. The path takes us through Bhulbule further leafing us to Nyagdi, From thereon, we head towards Bahundanda. The trail that leads to Bahundanda offers some stunning views with gorgeous green lush rice terraces lining the path, it makes the step walk a bit more worth it.

Day 5


Trek from Bahundanda to Tal
After having our early morning breakfast, we leave behind Bahundanda and head towards Tal. The trail is certainly strenuous among all the other trekking trails. The trail will take us from Bahundanda to Ghermu, Ghermu to Jagat and finally Jagat to Tal. The total journey from Bahundanda to Tal consists of 17 kilometers of hiking for over 9 hours. Dwelling through the forests and traversing through suspension bridges we finally make it to Tal.

Day 6


Trek from Tal to Bagarchhap
The trails take us through villages and on the way we see various chortens. The chorten are Tibetan in origin and generally, contain prayer wheels to spin for prayers and safe journey coming and going. Most of the villages are influenced by the Tibetan culture here. Hence, we get to explore the Tibetan culture and hospitality. After reaching Bagarchhap we stay there overnight.

Day 7


Trek from Bagarchhap to Chame
Today, the trek begins from Bagarchhap to Chame. After having our breakfast, we embark our way through Chame. We will then continue the narrow valley with a bounty of rhododendrons. After crossing the Himalayan barricade to the east of Lamjung via Namun Bhanjyang, we will continue to Lattemarang. Further, the trail splits and we choose the path leading towards Chame, the headquarter and biggest market of Manang. The Chorten at the entrance to Chame is somewhat uncommon with Hindu elements included in it.

Day 8


Trek from Chame to Pisang
After having our early morning breakfast, we head towards Pisang. The trekking journey would take about 5-6 hours. The trail is steep and narrow that leads us through a very dense forest leading us to the dramatic curved rock face, rising 1500m from the river. Moreover, this is probably the steepest part of the Marshyangdi Valley, so steep that the trail is carved into the vertical rock. After passing this last bit of rock, the valley opens up with majestic views. Finally, we reach Pisang.

Day 9


Trek from Pisang to Manang
Generally, there are two routes to Manang but we follow the trail that takes us to Upper Pisang via Geru. This trail offers some excellent views of the beautiful landscape and the mighty mountains including Annapurna and Pisang. We begin to notice a contrast in the landscape and vegetation from today. Moreover, the cold and dry climate also creates a much harsher environment. Our short visit to Barge monastery, the largest monastery in the entire district of Manang will be memorable.

Day 10


Acclimatization at Manang
Today, we stay entire day acclimatizing at Manang. This day, we go on a short hike to either Bhojo Gumba or Gangapurna Lake. If we have the energy, we can even hike to Vraga Village where we can visit the Himalayan Rescue Association which will give us some idea about Acute Mountain Sickness (AMS).

Day 11


Trek from Manang to Letdar
After having our early morning breakfast, we leave behind Manang and head towards Letdar. The trail ascends nearly 4000 ft. today to Yak Kharka (Yak Pastures). After climbing up to Tengi which is the last permanent settlement below the pass, we will climb up to Ghunsang with few hotels. Then, the trail turns northwest towards Jareng Khola valley. If lucky, you may have an opportunity to encounter Naurs (blue sheep) that may come downstream to quench their thirst.

Day 12


Trek from Letdar to Thorung Phedi ( Base of Thorung La)
Today we start trekking towards Thorung Phedi, the base of Thorung La. We climb for some time before passing above a lake and descending to the river via a bridge constructed by khampas in the past. After ascending upstream of Jarseng Khola, we reach Phedi.

Day 13


Cross Thorung La and Trek to Muktinath
Today we start our journey early in the morning. Traversing through the Thorung La Phedi, we head towards Muktinath. The trail offers beautiful views of the colorful flags and the chortens. The colorful flags just make the views even more picturesque. Muktinath is one of important pilgrimage area of both Hindu and Buddhist people. The journey up takes us through some very old and traditional Thakali settlements.

Day 14


Trek from Muktinath to Jomsom
Muktinath is one of important pilgrimage area of both Hindu and Buddhist people. We visit the main temple before leaving towards Jomsom. After that, we head towards Jomsom the capital of Mustang. Jomsom is a lovely town of Nepal situated at an elevation of around 2700m in Mustang. Likewise, it can be viewed as a place to use as a base for exploring the upper part of the Kali Gandaki area. It is cut in halves by the world’s deepest gorge Kali Gandaki Gorge.

Day 15


Fly from Jomsom to Pokhara
After having our breakfast, we take a flight to Kathmandu via Pokhara. The flight in itself would create some unforgettable experiences for you. The jaw-dropping views of Annapurna ranges and Mt Dhaulagiri makes it even worthy.

Day 16


Drive to Kathmandu
Our adventurous journey to Jomsom Muktinath has finally come to an end. After having our early morning breakfast, we either drive to Kathmandu that would approximately take about 6 hours. After reaching Kathmandu our representatives will drop you to your hotel for relaxation.
Moreover, for the remaining time of the day, you can explore the enchanting city of Kathmandu. Meal: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Day 17


Full day relaxation at Kathmandu
Today we spend our entire day exploring the capital city Kathmandu. Day 18


Onward Departure
After having your breakfast, you can have a relaxing time shopping in the city. At the evening our representatives will drop you off at the Tribhuvan International Airport. Not to mention, you will be taking tons of memories of the trip.
