Tsum Valley is a sacred Himalayan pilgrimage valley situated in a trans-Himalayan region of Gorkha, Nepal not far from the Tibetan border. Sun Valley's close ties to  Tibet with its natural beauty and its pristine culture, make this a truly unique trekking adventure. Tsum comes from the Tibetan work 'Tsombo', which means vivid. Against the majestic backdrop of the Shringi Himal, Ganesh Himal and Baudha Himal range, this fascinating Himalayan valley is extremely rich in culture and religion and it contains a lot of ancient art.
The local people are mostly of Tibetan origin having migrated to Nepal many centuries ago and they speak their own unique dialect.
Artistic Chhortens and  Mani walls (prayer walls made of thousands of stone slabs carved with deities and prayers.) The Tsum Valley has a long history of Buddhism, the Buddhist saint Milarepa is believed to have meditated in the caves of three mountains. The traditionally The Tsum valley was a culturally distinct geographical area called 'Tsum Tso Chuksum', which means thirteen provinces ruled as a single territory. The ancient remains of the Tsum Kingdom are still visible today. Due to its remoteness and inaccessibility, this sacred valley and its people have been bypassed by mainstream development for centuries. As a result the unique culture of this valley has remained intact. The trek starts from Gorkha Arughat to Mu Gompa & Rachan Gompa.

Day 1

Arrival in Kathmandu airport pick up & transfer hotel briefing your trip.

Day 2

Drive to Arughat Bazaar by private transport jeep or public bus it takes 07 hours from Kathmandu start trek to Shoti Khola overnight( 600m)

Day 3

Trekking from Shoti to Macha Khola it takes 06 hours overnight lodge (1300m)

Day 4

Trekking from Macha Khola to Jagat normally 06 hours walking overnight (1410m)

Day 5

Trekking from Jagat to Lokpa normally 06 hours walking overnight (2040m)

Day 6

Trekking from Lokpa to Chumling 05 hours walking overnight (2363m)

Day 7

Trekking from Chumling to Chhokangparo 07 hours walking overnight (3010m)

Day 8

Trekking from Chhokangpro to Chhule-Nile maximum 05 hours overnight (3361m) you can Visit Milarepa Cave also.

Day 9

Trekking from Chhule-Nile to Mu Gompa 04 hours walking overnight (3700m)

Day 10

Trekking from Mu Gompa to Rachen Gompa 05 hours walking overnight (3240m)

    • 2-4 large plastic bags to separate clean clothes from dirty ones.
