Yala  Peak  Climbing | Climbing  Yala  Peak

Yala Peak is an easy trekking peak in the Langtang region of Nepal and it can easily be added on by allowing an extra three days to a trek up the Langtang Valley (see trekking in the Langteng Valley). The summit gives very good views of Langtang Lirung (7246), Dorje Lakpa (6990) and Shishapangma (8027) and of the Tibetan mountains if weather permits.
From the upper Langtang Valley at Kyangin you trek off towards Langtang Lirung base camp before turning north for what is quite a stiff ascent up to Yala base camp. Prior climbing experience is not required however some outdoor experience and average level of physical fitness is needed.
